Assam Rifles Public School, Jorhat was established in October 1977 at its present location at Jorhat. At its initiation it offered I to III classes with a handful of students. In the year 2005 it received affiliation for running XI & XII classes & in the session 2007-08 made history as its first batch of XII went for the boards. Gradually, it grew from strength to strength and now stands tall & proud with a qualified competent faculty of teachers. The School infrastructure boasts of a well-equipped library, state – of - art computer labs, well equipped science laboratories and an Audio Visual Room with LCD Projection system to enable the students to experiment, learn and innovate. Here, we try to provide pens to writers, brushes to creators and colours to artists besides developing a positive attitude and the perfect ambience for the students to grow mentally, physically and emotionally.
